Valve blocks, also called logic blocks or distributors or aluminum blocks, are normally positioned in the hydraulic power unit. Or rather the main one is there, then it is possible that other distribution blocks are in other points of the hydraulic system such as on the hydraulic motor that manages the exit and retraction of the tail lift from under the truck in the retractable sides. Sometimes, also on cylinders there are small valve blocks. As you can imagine, attached to the logic blocks are usually visible electric coils that will obviously be mounted on valve cartridges. Other valves are generally also mounted in the main distributor block, such as the maximum pressure valve that manages and keeps the maximum operating pressure regulated inside the system, protecting it from breakage, or the exchange solenoid valve or the flow regulation valves, also commonly called chokes, which are responsible for opening or descend the platform at a speed calculated and predetermined by the manufacturer and which complies with specifications regulations. There are also non-return valves. The aluminum block in the control unit is precisely the heart of sorting and managing oil flows and it is to this that the electric motor and pump are often connected directly.
