Tilt cylinder

The tilt or closing cylinders are responsible for the sole and exclusive task of rotating the platform. Generally, depending on the tail lift models, there can be 1 or 2 tilting cylinders. In most cases, four cylinders are visible in the tail lift and the outermost ones are the rotation cylinders. They are connected, on one side to the beam or main frame of the bank and on the other to the bracket or plinth, fixed on the platform. In the tail lifts with a smaller capacity (500, 750 or 1000 kg) it is possible to find two cylinders instead of four; Normally, in this case, the swing cylinder is the right one when looking at the truck from behind and therefore in the direction of travel (passenger side).
