Motor relays

The motor relay or power relay or also called contactor, is a fundamental component in the electrical starting and protection system of electric motors. It plays a crucial role in ensuring that the motor is running properly, protecting it from overloads, short circuits, or other electrical anomalies that could damage it. In fact, since he starts the engine, it is also the component that turns it off, when it no longer powers it, either by the user's will or when it is deactivated by the engine thermal that is warning him of overheating. There are types with semicircular flanges to mount them directly on the engine body or with a flat flange to fix it in a metal sheet of the control unit box. They differ in shape and therefore relative dimensions and especially in the starting amperes.
