Gasket kits are the set of components subject to wear inside the cylinder that contribute to its correct sliding operation and prevent oil from transferring or leaking. Usually the conditions that tend to ruin the seals and the various components are a ruined chrome rod, scab or internal wear, rust or ovalization of the cylinder liner (the painted part). If you notice that these conditions are met when opening it, it is often not possible to replace the gasket kit because it will tend to wear out very quickly. At this point, it will make more sense to intervene directly with the replacement of the cylinder.
