Control box, main dashboard or also called control box or control panel. In short, it is the tool present in all tail lifts, which allows the operator to move the equipment. Each manufacturer produces and customizes this user interface, but it usually consists of a separate unit that is attached through brackets to the chassis and/or van of the truck. In some cases, the controls are located in the upper part of the hydraulic power unit protective cover. In a control panel we can therefore find all of these components: battery switch switch, 2 or 4 position joysticks, buttons, selectors, fuses, acoustic buzzers.
For the sake of completeness, this is the main and standard control system as other secondary and optional ones can be added. For example, push-button panels with spiral cable, or controls inserted on the platform that can be operated by foot pressure. Other types are wireless radio controls or small blocks recessed inside the vans.
