Contact elements used mainly in retractable tail lifts. They allow the tip of the platter to be placed on the base without the two elements of aluminum (tip and base) or aluminum (tip) and steel (base) touching each other. Other rubber bumpers, fixed to the truck frame, are used instead to compress the tail lift platform towards them for when it is at rest. They all contribute to ensuring that while the vehicle is moving, the tail lift dampens vibrations and jolts due to irregularities in the road surface, avoiding disturbing noises and preserving the mechanical parts.
