Retraction cylinder

Extension cylinders are only available on retractable tail lift models. Only one is mounted in the center of the bank, you can see it by going under the truck. It is used to make the tail lift move on the chrome guides to which it is connected and mounted. With it, the tail lift from the rest position, all under the truck, is able to exit externally at the rear, enabling the operator to open the platform by tilting it and then being able to use the tail lift for normal functions. Once you have finished using the tail lift and closed the platform, retracting the cylinder returns the tail lift to the rest position under the truck. Depending on the model of tail lift and the space it has to travel to get it out, the extension cylinders can be simple, but also coupled, in other word 2 cylinders welded side by side for a greater extension.
