One of the control possibilities of the tail lift is the possibility of pressing buttons fixed on the platform with the feet. This allows the operator to remain on the platform with his hands free and be able to get off or on with the load to be managed. Through this type of control it is possible to make the operations of descent, connection of the tip to the ground, ascent from the ground to the horizontal plane and then up to the loading floor of the vehicle. It is not possible to open and close the plate or swing. It is, as mentioned, functional only for loading-unloading goods. The most common foot controls are circular in shape, others triangular in plastic or metal with a rubber in the center which is the element that is pressed and closes an electrical contact. Other foot controls are instead made up of long plates, rounded or squared at the end, on which two or more rubber pads are mounted which, when pressed, always act on electrical components. Some sides have only 2 foot controls mounted, in this case to make a movement you must first press the button of the opposite movement in sequence, then the button of the movement you want the tail lift to make. This is for safety reasons and to ensure that the operator is aware of what he is doing and does not happen that, simply by pressing a button while walking on the platform, it begins to perform unexpected functions. Other sides have 3 controls where, for the same safety principle, the operator must press two buttons at the same time with his feet, the consent and the ascent or the consent and the descent. The 4-button platforms, on the other hand, require you to press 2 buttons for ascent and the other two for descent.
