The pressure booster cylinder is also called a compensator or hydraulic memory. The latter definition expresses its use. This cylinder comes into operation when the platform descends and touches the ground, from that moment, an oil transfer takes place between the two chambers of the cylinder and at the same time the tip of the plate descends and touches the ground, connecting to the ground, to allow the loading of the goods. When rising from the ground with only the lifting control, the oil transfers the two chambers, returning to its original condition and thus allowing the platter to restore the perfectly horizontal position it had before it came into operation. Generally, this cylinder lies in a horizontal position and is placed behind or inside the main frame of the tail lift. Without this cylinder, the platform could only perform the same function with the use of 2 tilt sensors.
